Whitening only works on natural tooth. Crowns, veneers and white fillings do not change shade, so if you have any at the front we will talk through what the result will actually look like before you commit to it.
We take a scan, make trays that fit only your teeth, and give you the gel with instructions. Trays that fit properly keep the gel on the teeth and off the gums, which is most of the difference between comfortable whitening and sensitive whitening.
Some sensitivity during the two weeks is normal and settles. If it does not, stop and call us — there are gentler gels and we will swap you onto one.
