The first appointment is mostly talking and looking. Unless you are in pain, we are not going to treat anything on the day — we are going to find out what is there and agree what to do about it.
You will meet your clinician sitting up, not lying back. Then an examination of the teeth, gums, bite and soft tissues, a digital scan, and X-rays only where there is a reason for them.
You leave with a written summary and, if anything needs doing, an itemised quote. You take that home. Nothing gets booked under pressure in the chair.
